2026 CLAY SHOOT
Patches, film, and $10,500 for a good cause.
One event, two crafts. I designed the custom hat and visor patches for Kier + Wright's 2026 charity clay shoot — then picked up the camera, filmed the day, and cut the recap video. From wearable branding to final edit, the whole visual story is mine.
The Patches
Bold, wearable, built for the field. The 2026 clay shoot patch designs build on the American flag as the base, layered with civil engineering and surveyor icons that carry the firm's brand — look closely at the stars and you'll find drones among them, a nod to the firm's eye in the sky. They had to work at arm's length on a hat and up close on a visor — sharp lines, high contrast, and a mark people actually want to wear.

The Recap
I filmed the day as it unfolded — two cameras and a gimbal, rolling from 7am setup through 3pm — working the crowd, interacting with attendees and drawing them into the film to capture great footage. Then I cut it all into a recap with real momentum: the atmosphere, the people, the cause. The patches show up throughout, worn by the shooters themselves. It's the kind of video that fills next year's roster. The final video went out to more than 200 accounts internally and externally, and the Facebook and LinkedIn posts drew strong likes and engagement.
